unlocking wyse s10 thin clients

Anyone familiar with these? Is there any simple way to unlock these? As far as I can tell, I need to either unlock them on site, or have to set up a special dedicated DHCP server with "option tags" as specified here.

Any other alternatives? The only reason for locking these is mostly from accidental resets of the devices.
