Unlocking TBred B CPU?

syee

Can anyone shed some light on what the most effective (and easiest 🙂 ) method to unlock a TBred B CPU?
I'm seeing several different methods - one of them was to connect certain pins in the CPU socket, another was to join some of the L5 bridges, and then I've also heard the nforce2 can automatically unlock (but since I don't have an nforce2, that wouldn't apply to me). Mobo is a Epox 8KHA+ and an Athlon XP Tbred B XP1800+ CPU.

Anyone have any ideas? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Connecting the L1 bridges should do it... but it can be tricky... to be honest, I'd be more inclinded to upgrade to a new motherboard for $85 and get increased performance even at stock speeds.

the L1 bridges are already connected. It looks like it lets me adjust the multiplier in the BIOS, but when it reboots, it seems to revert back to the original 133x11.5 settings... 🙁
