Ok, let me get this right, and please, feel free to correct me.

First, I unlock my DURON by using a mechanical pencil to connect the 4 L1 bridges.

Second, I go into the BIOS and change the multiplier to whatever I think I can overclock to, lets say 9.5 for a Duron 950.

From there, if I need more voltage, do I just adjust it in the bios, or screw w/the other sets of pins on the chip??

Any help is greatly appreciated..

on a side note, if I got some of the non conductive heat sink compund around the die (it got mushed onto some of the pins and surrounding areas when I put the ORB on), will it make the processor falter?? Thanks again.

It is my understanding that the pencil trick will unlock the multiplier. All you have to do then is change the multiplier in the bios. Remember there is not guarrantee for the speed you will get. Some people only get 800mhz while others get 1000mhz. Cooling is very important. You will probably need to increase the voltage to around 1.85 to get in the neighborhood of 900mhz but once again some do not need to go that high. I have two durons, an abit kt7, a alpha heatsink/fan, and a pc 133 stick of mushkin on order. good luck!
