Unlocking my first AMD cpu... little help please.

I bought an Athlon XP 1800+, 256 MB DDR 400 and an Asus A7N8X-X

The 1800+ runs at 1.53 GHz (11.5*133).

Would I get more performance by unlocking the multiplier and going 7.5 * 200? Then I get 30 less MHz, but the memory is running a lot faster. What do you guys think?
