Unlocking Intel Clock Multiplier

..... How do I do it!? I wanna run my 2.8GHz at 3.2GHz but the Multiplier is locked. Also there is an option in my BIOS sayin HT is disabled???? Do I have to manually enable it?

BTW I have a MSI865PE Neo2 with a P42.8Ghz with HT tech.😕

You cant unlock the multipliers on that Intel chip, and yes, you ahve to manually enable it, unless it was already enabled from the manufacturer.

What he said. Folks have been trying to unlock the multiplier for years with absolutely no success.

hmm, have you tried just raising the fsb to get to 3.2GHz?
