Anyone near sunnyvale want to unlock a palamino 1800+ for me? I don't have materials, nor the will to do it myself, especially not after I fried my K7s5a doing a voltage mod. I have a pile of stuff I can trade for this service(floppy drives, old at psu's, tons of different cables, ethernet/serial/video/parallel/etc

Why don't you just buy a Thoroughbred 1800 from newegg.com for just 60$ or so. It is already unlocked and cheap as hell. You can't beat that deal, with a stick.

It varies from board to board. Not all boards will get the CPU unlocked.

That would be nice!, but alas unemployment has its downsides. I do have a lot of free time tho.

If some one would buy my palamino athlon xp 1800+ for around 50 bucks, I would do it. I definately don't want a cpu lying around.
