Unlocking Atlon 2500+

I am new to posting in General Hardware. But I think what I ask fit the topics.

I have an Atlon 2500+ that I want to unlock. since this is my first time doing this, I don't want it to be a crash an burn kinda thing. I know I can use the FSB to overclock, I tried that already, but I want to see what more I can do. I am taking all the precaution there is making sure I won't damage my hardware and "Game over".

So, I am here asking you all wize overclocker about this chip since I hardly find any info on it online. I want to know which L should I solder or what I should do to unclock it so I can increase the CPU speed and not the FSB. Right now, I can't even adjust the CPU speed within the bios. My bios is said to be jumperless. So I am guessing to get this to be selectable, I need to unlock it.

🙂

Thanks,

The L1 bridges should be untouched. They should look like this: o-o and not like this o-|-o They are not supposed to have a little pit inbetween the two dots.

I do see a small something very faint. But it's not as dark as L4. Anyway, people say to make connection for all the L1 to unlock it. Is this true for all AMD processor?

O, I see there is a forum about this 2500+. I will look at that. Maybe I post this at the wrong place. Thanks for your into Oreo.
