unlocking a samsung phone

If you're on T-mobile, they'll give you the unlock code for free. Just call 611 (t-mobile tech) and ask.

its a samsung on Tmobile... the thing is that i found this phone at the club last nite.. and no one claimed it. it was pin locked so i can't call the owner... so i guess thats mine now.

Perhaps give it a bit longer? The owner could certainly call.

It could also be returned to the location it was found (surely they have a lost and found), in case the owner were to return for it.

people... i can't access the phone because theres a password lock on it...so that means i can't call/receive from the owner and i can't get the IMEI# number

IMEI# is likely printed on the phone itself, behind the battery. It certainly is on my Samsung phone.

Cat13's suggestion still holds: take it to a T-mobile store.

Cannot help to notice the excuses you've offered lean in favor of you keeping a phone that isn't yours.

Then take out the memory card and sell it on ebay.
