Unlocking 2600+ 333Mhz Processor

Been searching all over the web for this info.

How do I go about unlocking the multiplier for the AMD 2600+ 333Mhz FSB Barton processor?
Do I still just close the L1 bridges? If so what is the easiest way to do it?

Ummm.... You could try paying attention and reading some threads, first. No, you don't have to close any bridges. Almost any motherboard that supports a 2600+ has separate controls in the CMOS to set the multiplier. I'd be paying more attention to which boards are the most stable with which chips and which types of RAM are most compatible at the speed you want to run. 🙂

Like I've stated earlier, I've read other threads and have done searches on "barton overclock", "2600 overclock" with no avail. I'm using an nForce2 based motherboard and are familiar with the CMOS settings. However, when I change the multiplier in the CMOS, it is still unchanged later during POST.
