I will be looking for the above chip. If i remember previous posts, XP 2500 Barton Have bee locked simce week 40 to 42. Where will be the best places to look for the inlocked chip? Thanks
 
Unless you have PC2700 RAM that you can't replace, then I'd just get the locked ones. The overclock to 3200+ speeds involves just changing the bus speed to 200 and possibly a small voltage bump. I got my unlocked one up to 2.4 on air (@1.85V) without touching the multiplier last night.
