Ya it's called a mobile XP.

ed btw, you need to change title to A-XP instead of AMD, as 64's do not fall privy to this method and about 99% of buyers will only be shopping that.

When I first received the chips, I noticed something peculiar that had come up again. On the bottom (pin) side of the chip there was solder connecting some of the pins.

Don't everyone get excited now. IMO he basically bought a remarked chip. I doubt AMD would go about soldering underneath their chip. If they did such a thing they would make surface traces, or perhaps would make a substrate trace like the Palamino bridges, under a thin layer. Actual solder? C'mon! Sounds like some company got a batch of unlocked slower chips, replaced the label and modded them.

I could be wrong, but solder connecting pins... sheesh.

You can not unlock the multiplier simply by creating a short between any of the user-accessible bridges.
