Unlock a P4 NW

Hi All,
I looked just about everywhere and did not see any articles or discussion on unlocking the p4 NW. I realize there are no bridges or anything else of the sort but maybe some sort of a "pin trick". Anyone?

It's impossible.

Thankfully, there is no need to unlock with the P4's default 100MHz bus. Unlocking (increasing multiplier) would only decrease performance.

KenAF hit it.

Intel CPU's are overclocked via the Front Side Bus (FSB) any non-OEM (OEM meaning Dell/Compaq/HP/etc) mobo will have FSB adjustments in the BIOS. Good luck. 🙂

ever since mid 1998 all intel chips have been multiplier locked at the die level.

the only exception to this would be engineering samples.

there is no way to unlock them either. so its overclocking via FSB, or no overclocking.
🙂
