Remember though, majority of the nights start at 9 P.M. If you start your conversation at 8:59 P.M. you are deducting minutes from your pool of peak time minutes. Which means you aren't using night minutes even after you're talking at 9:30 P.M.

I don't know about att because I haven't had their service in a while, but make sure that long distance is included in your calling plan. I have nextel now and I do get unlimited nights/weekends but I don't have long distance because I have no use for it. so i would get charged making a long distance call even if i did in the weekend.

So. Cal. may very well count as a local phone call on a cell phone. It depends on what plan you have. My plan with verizon counts basically all of Nor. Cal. as local phone calls, but when I got it, I could have had the entire western US, or even the entire country be local, had I chosen a different plan.

it doesn't matter what kind of plan you have if you're the one receiving the call.







or at least i thought it didn't.. i'm almost 100% sure though, you don't get charged a LD bill if somebody from out of state calls your home phone. i wouldn't know though i've had nationwide LD ever since i've had a cell phone.
