UNLIMITED Local & Long-Distance for $43.95/month Internation plans too!! - SBC

Call and use the code below to get unlimited local and domestic, direct-dialed long distance for a FLAT monthly rate of $43.95 for 12 months ($48.95 thereafter, but we all know if you ask nicely come 12 months, it'll be extended) Includes caller ID and voice mail!!

Call: 1.877.742.5722 (1.877.PICK-SBC)

Code: DG6892

It's been verified to be a good code for states: IL, IN, OH, WI
may work for other SBC states

Int'l calls start at $4.95...and my friends called and can call India for 19 cents / minute

I use my cell for most of my long distance...but hate running low on battery...basically it's only an extra $10 on top of my local phone bill...so it's a no brainer for me

mci has the neighborhood at $39.95/mo. all the long distance and local calls you want, one price. add dsl for another $35 to make it $75 per month for 1260 / 638 (download slightly less than 1580 cable, upload 4x cable). of course, YMMV depending on your distance from the switch, but it makes me feel good not to be paying comcast $56 for their stinking service, and it's all on one bill.

btw, you DO NOT want to deal with sbc/yahoo dsl. my computer consulting clients insist on their cheap prices, and i spend my time on the phone straightening them out. want to avoid headaches? go with someone else.

SBC yahoo hasnt had too many problems for me, have had their service for just under a year now. Cable would be a lot faster. But in this area (Hyde Park, Chicago) i think sbc's the only broadband provider, which sucks for me.

Will look into this plan, though...thanks.

Dave.

dchakrab: Hope it works out for you...even though you're already a customer (I'm assuming from your post) if you persist and have been w/ them long enough to avoid an early term. fee, they'll give you the lower rate for the year....SCORE!

No luck. The CSR couldn't even find anything about a $43.95 rate, even using the code. Where did you see it?

BTW--Sun stole JSP from M$? You mean they copied ASP? Which was copied from countless other scripting languages.

Oh my... there's a CODE... Oh no, whatever will we do!

Thought I would be the first to post about that. w00t

😀

Success!

The code's allowed, incidentally, because it's only to verify the advertising source you got the plan information from. They don't ask for the code, or require it, and that's what they told me when i asked...the plan's publicly available to anyone who asks and is in the right areas, as far as i know, and the CSR seemed to indicate this was a national promo.

Incidentally, the rates for india are incorrect...the lowest my CSR found was 5 bucks a month for a 35 cents/minute rate. Do you know where your friends were getting the 19 cent rate from? Phone card, calling plan specifics?

Thanks,

Dave.
