Great deal, thanks OP.

Off-topic, but what do you use for your macro setup?

Thanks,
Mike

How does the quality of these prints compare to, say, Wal-mart?

Walmart has very nice paper and color for the price; I printed once with walgreens and hated it, the paper was dull and the color was crummy. Walmart was my next attempt and I was very impressed.

It should be MUCH better than Walmart. I've always thought Walmart quality was horrible from a professional standpoint.

Walgreens even more so though.

Depending on the situation, I use one of these:

1. Tamron 180mm Macro lens
2. 50mm + 50mm of extension tubes (Adorama ProOptics)
3. Reverse mounted Sigma 10-20mm or Sigma 30mm

Judging by where this size falls in the price chart, looks as if they are knocking $3 off per print. Pretty nice!

this is a great deal, thanks!

as an aside, i've been pretty happy with costco's photo printing. 11x14 is $2.99 +tax, and is available for pickup within 1 hour at most locations...

I got in on the deal last time. Photo quality was excellent. Better than anything I've ever had done locally. I've been using Adoramapix ever since.

The $1.99 does work for their premium prints too. Thats what I got last time.

Yup, Costco's printing is excellent.

Another point for Costco - you can get 12X18 for $2.99 also, and 20X30 by mail for $9.99 per print, with $5.99 shipping (I think this is for the first print, additional prints up to some number are very low of free in shipping)

The Costco online prints are made by Snapfish. Never used them so I don't know how they compare to Costco's in-house printers.

Nice, thanks so much! I just ordered a lot of pictures from WinkFlash, which was okay service. I think they overdeveloped the black and whites. Plus I could only get 8x10s. Going to give this a try.

I'm a Snapfish loyal, the photo quality can't be beat, the price is just right too. =)

It's usually 11 to 13 cent per regular sized print and they arrive in pristine condition, with good ink quality and a vibrant print paper. =)

Ask in OT? I've been meaning to make one, but it's getting to around finals and down to the grind :(

If you have a Michael's near you, they have a nice selection of frames in a wide price range. The best part is they are always on sale from 30-50% off. In the rare event the frame you want is not on sale, there's usually a 40% off coupon in their weekly ads.
