Unknown XASER II A6000A Accessory bag item?

Hello friends - my XASER II A6000A PLUS SILVER case arrived a couple of days ago. Inside the little ZipLoc baggie that contains the mobo standoffs and assorted screws, there is a thick metal ring of some sort. It looks to be about 3/4 inch in diameter and looks more cosmetic than functional.

I'm going to poke around the case a bit more and find what this thing is for. But do any of you know, offhand?

Sounds like a thorium (if I remember correctly) ring usually put around either the usb-port cables or cables from the front of the case (power button and such) to the mobo. It's pupose is that it helps a little with interference and thus cleaner signals. It's the same materials as you often see in monitor cables, a thicker, hard area before the connector.

Egrimm,

I agree, I thought the exact same thing when I read the post. Gawsh I don't think ive seen one of those in a case in a long time.
