Unknown USB device

I've removed and reloaded all of the drivers and software for my Canon Pixima MP950, but XP does not recognize the device. I've replaced the USB cable, still doesn't recognize it. It was working fine on Thursday. Any ideas on what to check?

I'm not sure if I can install them. When I go to the EPOX website, it lists a USB 2.0 driver, but this motherboard is 5 1/2 years old and didn't come with usb 2.0. Can you install these drivers on this old MB?

Why not add a USB 2.0 PCI card and use it instead of the mobo 1.1?

I installed a new printer about 6 months ago, and then it stopped working. It was on my network, and the problem was my Kerio firewall. The printer has an IP address, and I had to add that address to my "safe zone" to allow communication with it.

I know you did not mention a network, but that was for what it's worth. 🙂
