Recently built a new pc, and all is working fine outside of an Unkown PCI Device showing up in device manager.

Vendor: Nvidia
OEM Vendor: Foxconn International

Now I haven't installed the onboard sound...mainly because I have a card and dont wanna install the mixer software...could the Unkown PCI Device be the onboard? Thanks.

Have you disabled the onboard sound in the bios? Also I presume you did install the chipset drivers and the drivers for you other onboard devices.

yes it can, coz inbuit sound uses PCI interface, so it's determinded like an unknown PCI device, all you need is to turn off the inbuilt sound in BIOS
