what part is that?
i have a connetor from my psu labeled "pci-e" where is it supposed to connect? it is a 6 pin connectro [: : :]

i cant get anything to show up on the monitor, this is a new system

The square fitting in your picture needs this: ATX12V cable.

The six-pin PCI-E plug would go into a receptacle on a high-end PCI-Express video card, sort of like in this picture: power cable --> card

From the sounds of things, you might benefit from the photo guide those pics are from.
