Unknown CPU Type

Built a system awhile back and realized when I boot up it says on the black screen "Unknown CPU Type ~1800 MHz" Know how I can get my system to detect it? What clock settings and multiplier settings do I use for an Athlon XP 2400+

I have an Epox 8K3A mobo...Thanks!

Maybe flash your motherboard to the most recent bios. Maybe it'll detect it properly then.

Is the 2400+ a mobile or Thoroughbred chip?

If it's a TB, the multiplier is 15x with a 266 FSB..... 15x133 = 2000Mhz = 2.00Ghz

Actually, I upgraded the bios and now it is detecting it fine. I guess the Epox 8k3A mobo just didn't support anything over 2000+ until the bios upgrade. Everything's working fine. Thanks for the tips!
