Unknown charge on my credit card can anyone figure this out?

I just saw a charge for $46 on my card from INTERACTIVE MEDIA 800-667-8208 NV

I called and they said its Lavalife, an online/phone dating service. I said I didnt sign up for anything and they asked me for my credit card # and address. I was hesitant to give this out and asked what $46 could be, and they said 6 hours of phone time.

Is this some kind of scam or has someone just gotten ahold of my card # and I need to cancel it immediately?

Quick, go to your nearest drive through (preferably an Arbys) and whip your credit card at the cashier's neck.

"Hi, Josh this is Ursula the German dominatrix, I would just inform you to get your lazy a$$ on the phone again you maggot infested scum!"
😉

Well I called the bank and I have to wait for the charge to complete which can take up to 10 days. Then I have to fill out a form, mail it in, and they "investigate".

I called Lavalife and told them they might as well just cancel it now to make it easy, or there's going to be a chargeback. They won't cancel it now which pisses me off. I asked them to tell me a little bit about my account, so maybe I can figure out who got my card number. They won't do that because of confidentiality. But it's my account! 😛
