When an unjust law is enacted, is it better to follow the law until it gets changed or disobey the law to help it get changed?

Something to ponder.

Depends on the law -- for most laws I'd work to get them changed by voting, letters, protesting, and supporting lobbying efforts. African-American civil disobedience made sense for segregation laws, but snorting coke on the white house lawn because you disagree with drug laws / policy seems a little less noble. And stealing music because you don't like CD prices or copyright laws is still theft.
