i bought one of these, and i'm having trouble turning on the LCD screen. It was at a friend's house (the person who put the components in) and he assured me the laptop worked before he shipped it.
I recieved it today, and pushed the power button, everything seemed to go well for the first couple of seconds (the laptop sounded like it was turning on, fans started, lights lit up etc..) but the LCD screen stayed black (not turned on) I closed the LCD lid, and then opened it back up. It would stay black for ~5 seconds and then flash gray for ~1 second, and then would continue in that cycle. I removed the Battery and plugged it in and powered up, same thing, i removed the wireless card, the hard drive, the ram, and even the optical drive (all taken out alone, and all together)
I just spent $2000 on this laptop and i hope it isn't DOA because it took a LONG time to get here. Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.
