Hot damn, they dropped the fee! :D

now, get the parking permit.

Nah, I don't really need one. I'll just make sure to get there at 6:00 instead of 5:50 thinking there's no way they'll ticket me that late.

your university charges for commuter parking permit? my university gives out for free but you'll have to park really far away unless pay for a reserved parking permit.

Yup, it's $25 per semester. And even with a parking permit, the commuter lots are a long ass walk and almost always full anyway. We REALLY need a parking garage or two here.

The lot where I park for my night class is considered a faculty lot during the day.

So I had at least several dozen parking tickets over that time span that I never paid. I assume they tried sending a bill to her dad, but knowing him even if he got a bill he'd just chuck it.

I got several parking tickets about five years ago from the city of Portland just before I turned my lease in. Never heard anything about that either.

I got a ticket from another college in the area that I never did pay.. that was 4 years ago and I've never heard anything about it either. But for my own college, they say that after 90 days "these fines will block your records." So I either had to fight it or pay it. Luckily after annoying them enough, they just dropped it :)
