I'm from Univeristy and they block so many things such as all the latest PC games. They even blocked piratebay lol.

So i would like to know if theres away to bypass it?

If there is, this is not a place to discuss it.

Yeah.. and the IT department will find out, tell your Student Services Department and kick you out.

Probably best to get a 3/4G dongle, plug it in your computer and surf for whatever you want.

it's the University's network, so they hold every right to block any kind of Internet traffic they want.

Yep. There's a very easy way. Pay for your own connection and then you can do whatever you like with it. While you are using the school's network, you must follow their rules for that connection.

When one is using the services of another organization braking/bypassing the organization's rules is No different than Shop Lifting.

Kind of difficult if he lives in their dorms. I don't think they would let him just call Comcast and have Comcast wired to his school dorm...

Then I guess he needs to follow the school's rules then - or buy his own mobile internet connection

Yet Sprint, TMobile, Verizon and AT&T all have mobile internet services. It's not such an intractable situation.
