Universal Studio's Hollywood Theme Park

aircooled

Lifer
Will be at Universal Studios Hollywood in a couple weeks.
What rides/attractions are "must do's"? Any I should stay away from altogether?

Terminator is a must do. There weren't really all that many... you can do them all in one day. Oh and stay away from Back to the Future if you get motion sickness.

I went there last year - it was pretty cool because Microsoft had booked the entire park for their Professional Developer's Conference attendees. Free booze and food and minimum waiting! IIRC, the standouts were the studio tour, Terminator, Shrek 4-D, and the Jurassic Park rides.

Eh, that park isn't very good really. That new "The Mummy" rollercoaster looks kind of neat, but I don't know anyone that's actually been on it.

The Jurassic Park ride isn't bad either if you don't mind getting a little wet.

goto islands of adventure instead. much better. they have 2 awesome rides too. The Hulk and Spiderman ride.

In Orlando?

Go to the Islands of Adventure park instead of the movie ride park. After a while, all of the movie rides become bland. Men in Black was good, though. But, after a day of nothing but movie rides I was getting bored and so were the kids.

Thanks for the info. This all started because we wanted to do a movie studio tour so we figured we just do Universal and enjoy the theme park too.

just go to universal city walk and get sloshed. you'll have more fun haha..

altho' i hear the mummy ride is pretty cool

i heard shrek4d is good, and i'm always a fan of the studio tour. jurassic park is fun too. i haven't been on terminator yet but that should be good, and back to the future is always a good amount of fun.
