i dont want to crap on the deal because it is still pretty good. but universal is only open 10am - 6pm and that is enough time to go on everything 3 times. Its a really small park. But its loads of fun if you're into watching really bad parents in action. 50 degrees out and these parents still let their kids get soaked at that nickelodeon splash zone.

Anyway, the good thing (for us) is that the park is empty and really suffering from the decline in travel. So lines are like 5-10 minutes long. My recommendations are T-2, Jurrasic park the ride and Backdraft. Everything else was all fluff.
I got a season pass 6 months ago and have cashed in on it about 4 times already because we get so many guests out here.

My kids really liked the Waterworld show, but didn't care for Backdraft. T2 was way cool though.

This is probably good for locals, but I'm 150 miles away so a little long for day trips.

monkey butler-
you're right, Universal Studios can be done in a few hours. I have zero plans of ever going back, but i have to admit this is a great deal.

I had the similar deal from seaworld last year, it was very successful 'cos I went there last day in last year's promotion, I have to wait in line to get my yearly pass for 1 1/2 hr, I think a lot of parks learn they can do the samething. By the way, I heard Legoland San Diego has the similar promotion.
