Universal HSF? Fits AthlonXP, Athlon64 & P4 boards!

Have you guys seen this yet? I could do w/o the LEDs, but to each his own. I didn't think it was possible...never heard of such a thing. Interesting though. :)

Who would ever thought of a Gigabyte Heatsink/Cooler. Well, year 2004 is a surprise for everyone as Gigabyte releases its first Cooler-Pro series of heatsinks. Packed in a small plastic box, the cooler comes with various clips for K7, K8 and P4. This is really good news for overclockers who plays with lots of K7, K8 and P4 boards. One heatsink with multiple clips to support all platforms available..

I'm not terribly impressed w/it's performance either. All that heat pipe and convection technology....bah, humbug! Give me a solid hunk of copper and a good fan anyday!

I just thought the "universal" aspect of it was cool :)

the zalman 7000s care universal too, but they cool well and are whisper quiet also. probably cost the same.

the zalman 7000s care universal too, but they cool well and are whisper quiet also. probably cost the same.

i agree, but that gigabyte does look cool.

you have a point. haha. i just got a window case, and well... that could be cool.
