Universal healthcare has come! Thanks Senator Bill Frist!

Little do we realize, we have just been handed universal healthcare, thanks to Senator Bill Frist and the Terri Schiavo case. Finally, all Americans have the right to have Senator Bill Frist go thru our medical records, make a diagnosis, then have a vote in House and the Senate to determine if our healthcare is appropriate for us. Thanks Senator Frist! You?re just too nifty for words.

They did deal with it, the Religious Right just didn't like the conclusion that was reached all 19 or so times.

can you not say religious right.
how about compassionate americans...
i'm 100% certain there are many liberals out there who are optimistic for this woman...no matter the odds.
I mean it it takes crazy odds for life to form without a creator ;)

This post isnt aimed at the Schiavo case. Its about what the government feels they can do to us, when ever they want, in our name.
And in this case, just to make brownie points with the red states.

No, it just takes natural organisms which behave in specific ways to come together and react according to their natures. I find it immensely annoying that people rant that "it's inconceivable that a single cell could evolve into something as complex as a human being even after millions of years!!", yet there's no trouble at all believing that *TWO* cells can grow into an entire human being in just NINE FRICKIN' MONTHS.

Good god!

do they really need to make brownie points in the red states?
also, your whole premise is about schiavo...you are even mentioning brownie points with the red states...alluding to schiavo again.

state what your point is...why you think that way and evidence to support this.
if you don't have that...your thread is DOA and you have added to the endless stream of schiavo fluff.

note the wink...i was comparing the optimism and the athiest mindset.
but to get back to your point there are some things like molecule absorbtion into the body where statisically the molecule should not be able to orient itself correctly in the timeframe this is accomplished. Also the logistics of life as a whole...how everything works together, was formed etc. Seems to indicate very creative and spectacular engineering and design. But...i dont want to make this a religious debate...
I still have no idea where i stand on that yet...so the arguement is moot.

I accept that there could be no god...also i respect all forms of faith...

Absolutely!! I mean, those lefties who protest the execution of death-row inmates, they love non-killers too, right? Sure, Terry Schiavo isn't as 'cool' as Mumia Abu-Jamal, but I'm sure the far left has nearly as much respect for the life of an innocent invalid as they do for a cop-killer!

They did say that it is unconstitutional to let anyone die without due process. Does that mean that medical institutions can no longer toss the bums out?

No, it means the bums have to have due process before they are tossed out.
