I recently inherited a PII box, but it's becoming my OS test bed (first up: gentoo and freebsd). I'm not looking forward to the week or two it'll take gentoo to compile though 😉 It may end up a windows box eventually (which would then obviously run UD).

I lost my 80 gig hard drive today. I'm down to 2 120's, a 60, a 30, and a 0.12 (between three boxes). Bloody Maxtors are becoming a hassle lately...

Back on topic, strangely my production went down a few hundred points even though my workstation was in Windows all day (+ a few hundred points). Therefore I lost a lot from other people not returning...

I guess it's time to re-overclock my 2700+ then 😉 It was the last of the 256 KB series (before Barton), so I'm not sure how high it'll go... Didn't go very far with my old, crappy ram (not surprising). I've been thinking of "upgrading" to a 2500+ and ddr400 ram so that I can get 3200+ out of it (funny how that works), but I think I'll just wait for opterons to come down in price (my next box will be a dual opteron workstation).

I'm a big flusher today! 😉

So I'm back, and *cough* overclocked... Wasn't as successful as I would have liked: 2271 MHz from 2166 (5% increase). I tried 2297 and started getting random reboots in XP. Two suspects: the ddr333 ram that I have (I may try running at cas 2.5 rather than cas 2 to see if I get a clock speed boost) or the chipset (kt400). Of course, haven't started playing around with bumping voltages or anything like that yet.

I'll keep on it 😉

In other news, my Radeon 9700 overclocked from 275/270 to 310/300 no problem... Doesn't help Ligandfit though 🙁

Thorin, I usually update the monthly stats on the 30th of the month. Although I'm thinking about updating that page everyday
and make another monthly page with all the active members sorted at highest average. Unfortunatly I don't have any time left
right now to do anything with it..
I bought a new game last week, havent got time to install it yet! 🙁

The errors I'm getting while running linux are either because the proc is screwing up because it's clocked too high (pretty unlikely), or that the memory is being pushed too hard (very likely). If I drop to cas 2.5, those will probably go away.

Too bad I can't afford ddr400 ram right now 😉

I just changed the user history "popup", so that new members only see the days they are in the team, and not those zero days anymore which also counted for the average..

Woo, I just had my second device ever pass 100,000 points 😀 I've been waiting for this for at least a year now 😉

Two more active devices in the 90,000s!

Considering I only have one device that has contributed over 1 year of CPU time (I generally reformat before it hits one year), that's pretty good!

My vmware image totalled 781 points yesterday.
 
Ok I know I was really kickin it with all the recent additions to my UD farm but I've agreed to throw one 2200+ over to our Seti team for 2 or 3 wks. Hopefully my remaining 2200+ and the group of sys I have going at work can hold me @ 56th on our AT UD list 😀
