CyGoR, I'm curious about how you do these stats...are you using mySQL? if you are, are you manually updating or pulling the stats from UD somehow?

Yes, I am indeed using MySQL as a database server.

I've written a script (almost a year ago now..) in Perl which extracts the data from the UD (grid.org) website. It took me a while to figure out how to do it, but it worked out just like I'd hoped.
Since by that time Perl wasn't my strongest programming language, I use PHP to do some calculations and make sure the data in the tables are good..
But, because of a huge lack of time, ofcourse, I still haven't made sure that everything is auto-updating. I do know how to do that, but it will take time.
Currently @ school I'm learning a great deal of Perl (18hrs/week + 10hrs @ home) and planning to redo everything but then better, so I won't have to look after it every day anymore.. Perl rules for this job with its very (VERY) powerfull regular expressions...
(This explains the unfrequent updating of the page..)

This topic is also a script which I don't have to do anything with, just copy and paste in a new topic 😉
