Coming back to the US in June, our flight was having some video problems. It looked (and sounded) to me like dirty heads might have been an issue, so I introduced myself to the attendant as they went for the second "reset".
I had some chamois swabs for my videocam so I cleaned the heads for the deck that was giving the problem. I showed them the cleaning cassette and stuff I carried for the camera and suggested they carry something similar for the odd time where dust gets in the way.
She wrote my suggestion down , handed me a card to mail in .....
AND United just sent me a $100.00 flight certificate and a thank you note!.
sweet....
fixed the jitter in Playback, too, BTW....
