Paying to guarantee the pension funds of the top execs even if they go bankrupt. Oh, and some nice exec bonuses as well.Originally posted by: Chiropteran

yeap. basically they cut the low end workers to sustain the top end exec salaries and bonuses.

United can go F themselves up their stupid asses. Had to fly with them regularly for all of 2003 out to Austin. It was never pleasant. This year we fly there on American, and thank god. I can actually fit in the seats!

I disagree. I find United to have the best customer service while American just "gets by." I flew American last week and they were unorganized, slow to take off, and did some weird manuevers while we were in flight. We were sitting near the ticket agent, and 3 seperate people had tickets of someone else while getting on the plane. Each one was an eticket that the ticket counter screwed up.

AA seems to have better leg and hip room in thier seats than UA. I just flew UA last week and I was rubbing next to the guy in the seat beside me the whole time. And neither of us were that big. It was rather uncomfortable for the 4 hours that the flight lasted. Flying American the same flight was much better.
