Comes with a decent enclosure/stand, or rip it apart for some interesting case mods... or auto use?

Unisys 10.5" LCD Monitor w/ 4MB PCI Video Card -- $99.95

This compact little unit is great for using in applications where space is an issue. These units have a footprint less than a 8.5" x 11" sheet of paper and is no taller than 14"! Couple of cool features about these monitors is they DON?T require a power supply as they draw their power through the video card and they have a adjustable neck to raise the height of the monitor by 6 inches! We?re currently use these monitors on all our POS/ cash registers in our retail store and they work great. Their also great in using in your server room! The picture on this unit looks absolutely BEAUTIFUL!

Being that the monitor draws it's power from the proprietary video card, I'd be wary of expecting good enough refresh rate and response time for video (auto use). If anyone gets this and finds otherwise, I'm sure there may be more interest.

Anyone else think that the video card may just have a plug on the inside to plug it into the powersupply, then another plug on the back of the video card that the monitor plugs into for power, so a seperate vga and a seperate powercord, both plug into seperate ports on the video card?

doubt it, it probably just used a couple of the unused wires in the standard vga cord.

Very true. Also, the video card is probably full sized killing any microatx "under the car seat" cases.

Very interesting....I am think of using this with my ATI all in wonder as the second monitor, to watch TV and ICQ withile I am playing games on the main monitor. When I get pay tomrrow I think I will buy one. The only problem is that I need to install two video card on my computer and I know that window will use the PCI video card as the boot up video card....just wonder if I can just plug it on the my AIW.......

Apparently, these are identical to the model ofered by Keycorp. They appear to be active matrix screens as only the ISA versions were passive. Here's an ebay link of an old auction showing some detailed pics These would make great digital photo panels!

I looked at one when I stopped by yesterday. It's definitely TFT. It doesn't look half bad at all. I wouldn't pay $100 for it though. It's too small to use on a desktop, but because of the PCI card, it's really useless to be mounted in a car.

looks super cool, I'd get one if it weren't $100. also for the full-size card problem, can't you just use a riser card in lots of small cases in order to make it parallel to the mobo?

WHOA! This is EXACTLY what I've been looking for to finish my Mac+ conversion.

Typical, though, it shows itself when I haven't got the fundage. Hope there're a few left in a couple of weeks.

got mine on friday, works absolutely great, hooked it up to my gx100, even in this super small case, the pci card fits, power seems more than adequite, definately worth the $125 payed for it (and thats a shipped price) so for the person who gave me crap for paying that for he monitor, remember, that is the shipped price, how much do you think you would have payed for those 15" monitors if you payed to have them shipped? i wouldn't consider this hot, but it was definately worth it

images are crisp, and there appears to be no lag, now all i have to do is
