Unistall SP2?

What type of effect would this have on the stability of my OS? Has anyone else attempted? The reason I ask is because I am having major issues with drivers for camera and camcorders and have read that SP2 is the source of the problem.

Any comments?

If your drivers are not compatible with SP2, you need to get very upset with the company that made them. It is their fault it's not working, not Windows. It is terribly irresponsible of them to release software that does not work with the latest updated Windows, which was updated how long ago?!

Either that, or get a new camera. Seriously, SP2 is more important.

I agree, SP2 is required for security. If you can't find new drivers, contact the manufacturer or maybe buy a new camera.

SP2 has been out for years now so there is no reason for software to not work with it.

try installing the drivers using the control panel's "camera and scanner" applet. i have had luck using that over the installation device manager. it must do something the other doesn't.
