anyone have any suggestions for interesting vacation destinations? someplace you'd like to go before you die, that might not be on most people's list?

i'm planning a little getaway for myself. say i've got a week... what might be a cool place to see? so far i've thought about:

Barrow, Alaska. northernmost city in the US, right up near the arctic circle.
Bunol, Spain. for that la tomatina festival at the end of the month.
Greenland. too bad they dont have direct flights from the US yet.

any other ideas?

Victoria Falls or Angel Falls.

Rain forest in South America is also good, but needless to say, you gotta be careful.

Arizona - Painted Desert, Petrified Forest, Meteor Crater, Grand Canyon, Monument Valley, then to Utah - Bryce Canyon NP, Zion NP, Lake Powell, Canyonlands, Arches NP, Moab and Slickrock.

Never been to Australia and would also like to visit New Zealand. Been to England already and enjoyed it, but I would really like to see Ireland and Scotland, maybe visit Spain and check out Italy while in Europe.

I think Moscow would be a very interesting trip too.

I've also heard Costa Rica is very nice and Galapagos Islands are on my list.

Habitat for Humanity in Central America. You pay for everything and they receive your physical labor, but I hear the appreciation and experience is huge.
