Unintended Symbolism at Olympic Opening Ceremonies

Anyone else notice that they brought out the Indians and had them living in harmony and then promptly swept them off the stage for the "white man" to take over?

I could just see the director, "Okay, native peoples exit stage left, pick up you fire water and back to the reservation with you!! White people, it's your show now!"

I am sure they did not mean it that way, but it prompted my girlfriend and I to spend the evening making jokes about it.

Maybe he wasn't a Protestant (they hate Catholics and basically all Non-Protestants too).

A friend of mine made the same comment when they came out.
