Uninstalling Redhat 7

The drive I have RH7 on is getting dusty, and I could use the space at least until I get a new hard drive. Anyone know of documents on how to uninstall RH7? If I just format the drive, how do I get rid of the boot menu? (dual-booting RH7 and W2K)

I would just boot to Linux, then run /sbin/lilo -u to uninstall LILO from the mbr. Then I would use Linux fdisk or cfdisk to deleted the Linux partitions. Done.

I'll try that if nothing else easier pops up. 🙂 I'm very inexperienced with Linux. And keep in mind I want to keep everything on my C: drive, so nothing dangerous here. I've spent a lot of time downloading these mp3s. 🙂

and remember to run linux fdisk. If you run windows fdisk, it may create 1 large partition out of your two, and you could end up losing all info on the harddrive, just boot from the RH7 CD, go to text mode, and run fdisk or cfdisk, and change the partition back to a fat32. then, logout, and startup windows, and format the drive.
