I'm trying to remove my ATI card and replace it with an nVidia one. I used Add/Remove program to remove the old drivers and the ATI control panel, but when I reboot, I get this message:
------
ATI's desktop manager is being unloaded because an ATI display driver is not currently running.
If you have administrator privilages, click "Reset" to revert to default display settings. Select "Cancel" to close this window with no changes.
To permanently remove an installed ATI display driver, use the Add/Remove Programs control panel.
------
The uninstallation and new installation work perfectly. It just keeps popping this thing up. It does it at reboot every time. Neither "Reset" or "Cancel" will make it go away. I'm using Win2k pro and the Catalyst 2.5 drivers. Anyone know how to get this annoying pop-up to disappear?
