uninstalling applications

Care to be just a hair more specific?

iPhone, Apple Computer, eye liner?
 
OS X? Drag the app to the trash bin.

iPhone/iPod touch? Press and hold app icon until they "wiggle" and hit the "X" on the corner of the icon.
 
Also get AppCleaner as that will also get rid of all the preferences from the application, if you are in OS X of course.
