UNINSTALL Via 4.25?

ran WinME rock solid w/out Via's 4in1
-then played games, graphics FPS slowed
-so I foolishly installed Via 4in1 4.25; now having minor instability annoyances
-just read from various posts that members use just AGP driver

My question is, can I UNINSTALL VIA'S 4IN1 4.25 COMPLETELY? Is this done through the same install program - just choose "uninstall?"

Then, when I'm re-installing the AGP driver, should I choose AGP Standard or Turbo. I have Elsa Gladiac GeForce2 GTS, 512SDRAM PC133, T-Bird 1GHz - should I still use Turbo then?

Thanks you; this is my first venture into Athlon CPU. Learning new stuff everyday!

4 in 1 seems to have dorked my system too. I get lots of crashes, hard lockups and video dropouts in ME. I finally just gave up and quit using the damn thing. ABIT KA7 with Classic Athlon 700. I'm too disgusted to go through a complete reinstall.

The 4 in 1 drivers need to be installed right after the OS is installed. Then, you can install the drivers for your video card.

It's better to format the hard drive, and then do a clean install of the OS. Install the VIA 4 in 1 4.24 version.

Use TURBO. Standard sets AGP at 2X; Turbo will set it to 4X. Then, if you do have instability problems, go into the BIOS and change the value back to 2X, if possible.
