Uninstall Internet Explorer 7 Beta?

I bought Battlefield 2 Euro Forces tonight and when I got to download it, the EA Downloader gives me an error. I have found this is caused by having IE7 installed, so I need ot uninstall it. So far I can't find a way to take this piece of crap off my machine. I have tried the Add/Remove Programs --> Show updates to no avail. Anyone know of a way to get this thing off and IE6 back without reinstalling Windows?

Thanks!

It would be in Add / Remove Progamns, Add / Remove Windows Components ... it should be in there

Close but not quite, it's actually listed as a windows update.

add remove programs
check "show updates"
IE 7 Beta 2 Preview will be listed under Windows XP Software updates

It isn't there, like I indicated in my original post. I have Show updates checked and it isn't there.

Are you logged in as the user who initially performed the install? I've seen some reports that it can only be uninstalled as that user.

Though I wouldnt think that would cause it to not display on the list...

If all else fails I would do a post on the IE newsgroups; a fair number of the devs keep an eye on them and they may have suggestions.

Good luck
