I have 2 networks. 1 is the at&t aircard and the other one is a local only network that I use to share files and what not.
the at&t is used to connect to the internet.. and I customized the network settings and it let me save the network name and everything.
however on the local network its showing as unidentified network and I cant save my settings.. so everytime it loads I have to change it from a public network to private so I can access the shared files.. after doing this everything works fine.. but i'd rather not have to do that everytime I have to startup the computer. I'd like to be able to save the network settings for that so it stays on private network.
on the local network I didn't set a default gateway which i'm guessing is why it's showing up as unidentified network. however I can't set the correct default gateway because that makes it use the DSL Modems internet on that network.. and I need it to use the at&t aircard internet.. so that's why that's not set.
I've read that there's a lot of problems with the IPv6 so I have that unticked for both networks. do you know anyway I can make it so I can rename the network name and save the settings?
