Playing D2, keep getting this error.
Diablo II exception:
Unhandled Exception ACCESS_VIOLATION (c0000005)
I keep getting random lockups and such while playing. Most of these problems occurred when I installed my new Creative Annihilator2 GTS. After tedious testing, the conflict showed itself to be the SBLive. So I replaced it with the Phillips Acoustic Edge 5.1. Seem to still have these random lockups. Hardware and config as follows:
T'Bird 800@900 coreV of 1.75, no I/O increase, and I have ACPI installed under WIN98(OC'ing is not the problem as I had a Voodoo3 3000 and SBLive combo before and all was well, while OC'd)
128MB Mushkin High Pref
128MB Generic (all 256 set a CL3, PC133)
Creative Annihilator2 GTS, detonantor drivers version 6.50
AGP set at 4X, VIA drivers installed with DMA enabled, and in Turbo Mode
ASUS A7V MoBo, running VIA 4 - 1 drivers version 4.30
Phillips Acoustic Edge 5.1, running new updated drivers from auto update
Generic DVD-ROM
300W Power supply
Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!
