lol. I don't understand people who friend their parents on facebook. All it does is give them another ability to monitor you, and if you're in college/still a dependent like myself that's probably something you don't want. My life is my life. I don't care if it's their money, that's only the case by circumstance and I use it responsibly. Once I get my degree and salary I'm gone.

That would be much easier to fake without trying to photoshop and use fake fonts.

Just create two accounts and make your little joke...

Someone is a little ungrateful. With that logic their money is their money and you being their child is only the case by circumstance. You should have a little more respect for your parents, when you have a few of your own you will (hopefully) change your thinking

Suppose I should've expected this kind of response from the AT familial conservatives.

First of all, I fail to see your logic. I am their kid by circumstance. Maybe planned circumstance but circumstance nonetheless. The fact that I can't support myself at present isn't my fault, that's just how life works. For parents to financially support their kid through at least 4 years of college is IMO an obligation and part of being a parent, provided the parents are financially capable of doing so.

Second of all, my parents don't exactly create a homelife amicable to.. um... life. The entire story would take hours to explain properly, but suffice to say there's a pretty horrific history here you know nothing about. I show my parents a minimal amount of respect for paying my bills. By any objective standards, they don't deserve much more. I'm sure plenty of people here will disagree for some reason or other, but that's AT for you. *shrug*

Facebooking your parents can be a blessing or a curse. In my younger and wilder days - there's no way in hell I'd facebook them. :)

Your parents don't have to give you a cent you know.

You could support yourself if you went and got a job, but because your parents support you, you don't feel the need to.

It is ungrateful, you could at least admit it.
