Unexplained Addition To Memory

Hi.

I'm currently using a Computer on a Windows 2000 platform with 384 MB of Ram.

Upon looking at my Task Monitor status, it says I have 392 MB of Ram.

My question is, where is this extra Ram coming from?

Its a 2^10 vs 10^3 thing, same deal with hard drives

That is a decimal 392000K vs 384M. 392000K -> 392000*2^10. 384M -> 384 * 2^20 . Both are in fact equal if you interpret the K and M's properly
