Uneven facial hair growth -- how many guys suffer from this?

Since I'm Chinese, I don't really get a lot of facial hair -- I can't grow a beard. But I do have facial hair on my upper lips, chin, and below my chin. But it's unsymetrical. For example, the hair below my chin only seems to grow on the left side. How many guys have similar problems?

Same here. It's rather patchy. And the hair on the left side is more coarse yet lower in density.

i shave like once every 2 weeks, and thats if i feel like it.... my hair grows slowly lol
but on my right side the hairs are longer by that time then they are on the left side... they seem to grow in at the same time but after that the right side grows faster.

My hair is patchy I guess. I get some as side burns that grows the fastest, then i have a lot on my neck kinda, none directly under my chin, i have it on my chin and a little under my lip, above my lip, and then i have small patches on my cheeks a little off of my lips.

It looks like WTF when I don't shave.

Lucky lol, I would get a full beard if I left my face alone for 2 weeks.

My brothers and dad can grow a full beard easily. Me, I look more like Keanu Reeves when I don't shave for more than 4-5 days. AKA, horrible.

Yep. My girl is asian and all her brothers and even brother in law looked at me weird after one asked me why I had not shaved in a while. I then told them I shaved the night before, this is just 20 hours or so of growth.
My girl even says I have way to much hair.

Hey, it could be worse. When I was about 14 I wasn't paying attention when riding my bicycle and ran into a low hanging tree branch. The thing scraped the skin off my upper lip and the hair follicles didn't grow back (This branch was about 4-5 inches in diameter. The bicycle literally kept going forwards and I stopped at the tree branch like in a cartoon).

There was a TV documentary on a month or so ago (coulda been a rerun) about this Mexican family that was the same way. It was hereditary if I remember correctly. Most of them worked for the circus.
