Their crapware (which you apparently HAVE to install... RoadRunner "just worked") branded my MSIE. How do I undo the change to the throbber?
edit: got it.

You have to install it? I didn't when I had Comcast about a year or two ago.

I gave my comcast installer a linux box. He looked at me funny. Then he caved and let me just call comcast and have them register my modem over the phone. Then it all just worked. Its easier for them to run the software, but its not needed.

Haha...my installer did this when I set a policy not to allow the software to install on my computer. He was scratchin his head and decided to just call it in.

I wanted to install it it by starting their CD....but something went wrong and the install aborted with an error message.

Anyway i called them and then we just set it up over the phone, no special software etc. needed. MAkes me wonder what is/was actually on the comcast CD ? :)
