Undervolting with RMclock

I'm using rmclock 2.35 2/29/08 build. there are many options for core2duo's.

Does anyone know how to properly use this software, or could someone point me in the direction of a tutorial. The only one i've found so far is a 2006 guide at nordichardware using a very old version of rmclock.

Guess I'll just mess around with it some. My end goal is to have my T7100 run at super low voltage and to kick it in around 4x-6x multi at .9 volts. I've already gotten it to run at 10x multi (which isn't supposed to happen according to intel).

I wrote that a while ago, and it is still applicable to Core 2 Duo. I'm actually using RMClock now on my T7300 based laptop (.9625V is so sexxxyyy!)... Give it a try and i'll help you with any specifics you need answered...

Not to be a naysayer, but providing insufficient voltage to electronics can damage them.

Make sure you know what you're doing and test your chip once you "undervolt" it!

yah, so far i have 200 x 6 @ 0.9 vCore for my low power mode & 200 x 10 @ 1.17 vCore for my max performance mode. I've also enabled all c3,c4, deep sleep, c1e, tm1,tm2,eist modes for the core 2 + centrino viiv. I'm trying to get the 4x & 5x multi's or the dropped FSB. Is this possible?

battery life is up about 7-9%.

problem tho is the minimum voltage it can go downto.

My T7500 went all the down to min, could probably go down a bit more, yet was limited.

But it does save battery life. I noticed up to a 30 min increase. However the LCD display has more play on battery life unless your gaming on battery.
