Undervoltable P4 Mobo?

If you're looking at the Albatron PX865PE Pro, forget it. I went by what it says in the Albatron User Manual ("Vcore adjustable from .8375V to 1.8xxV") and bought the board. The Vcore is actually only adjustable from default to +.3V. I flashed every BIOS available for this board and the Vcore setting didn't change. I contacted Albatron Tech Support and they said that the manual was not correct and that this board is not undervoltable, nor will they be releasing any new BIOSes that will allow it to undervolt the Vcore.

If you're looking at the 865PE Pro II, I can't tell you. The manual says it's undervoltable but ya never know....

There is a Gigabyte board, it's called the GA-8IPE1000Pro, that's actually undervoltable. There's a guy at Asusboards forums called 'ol man, or ol fart or something like that who uses this board and runs his 2.4C at an insanely low Vcore. The problem with this Gigabyte board, aside from it's hideous color scheme, is that it has a fan on the NB so if you're looking to undervolt the CPU so you can run a very quiet cooling setup it will be sabotaged by the noisy 40mm fan that cools the NB.
